Teen Care

Adolescent / Teen Care

Teenagers go through many changes as the body becomes its adult size. They can't fit into your old shoes or their jeans are now 3 inches too short. Along with these changes, they're probably becoming more independent and making more of their own choices. Some of the biggest choices they face are about your health.

Healthy habits, including eating a healthy diet and being physically active, can help teens feel good, look good, and do their best in school, work, or sports. They might also prevent diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, osteoporosis, stroke, and some cancers that come with age.

Vaccines for Teens

Getting immunized is a lifelong, life-protecting job. Make sure you and your doctor keep your immunizations up to date. Check to be sure you've had all the vaccinations you need.
