Dr. Bardi grew up in Aiken, South Carolina. He received his BS degree at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, and then received his MD degree at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.

After completing his residency in general pediatrics at MUSC, and becoming board certified in pediatrics, Dr. Bardi served on active duty in the U.S. Air Force at the USAF Hospital, Tinker AFB, Oklahoma, for four years as a staff pediatrician.

He ultimately relocated to Florence, South Carolina, where he practiced general pediatrics for the next 34 years, before he and his wife, Laura, relocated to Pawleys Island. While living in Pawleys Island, Dr. Bardi practiced at Inlet Pediatrics in Murrells Inlet, SC for two years in a part-time capacity.

Dr. Bardi is an active fellow of both the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Pediatricians, as well as a member of the South Carolina Medical Association.
