Dr. Minter is originally from Turbeville, South Carolina, and brings a strong hometown connection to her work with families in the region. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Wofford College and her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. She then completed her pediatric residency at the Medical Center of Central Georgia and Mercer University School of Medicine.

Board certified in pediatrics, Dr. Minter has additional training in behavioral and developmental pediatrics. With a special interest in behavioral and developmental medicine, she can help families with children who suffer from disabilities such as Autism, ADHD, ADD and mental health conditions. After spending 10 years away, she returned to Florence, where she has had the privilege of caring for children and families through full-time general pediatrics for the past 30 years. She has a special interest in pediatric mental health and is committed to supporting the whole child.

She remains actively involved in the pediatric community as a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the South Carolina Medical Associates.

Outside the office, Dr. Minter enjoys spending time with her husband, their four children, and their beloved fur babies.
